Linkin Park held a memorial concert for singer Chester Bennington on. Oct. 24th
The concert had many guest appearances such as Blink- 182, Oliver Sykes, Taka Moriuchi, and over a dozen more.
“I know that for some of the guys in the band, getting on stage is more scary than other guys in the band. But I will say that for all of us, it’s definitely the thing that we want to do. It feels like the right way to celebrate Chester.” Said Mike Shinoada lead guitarist for Linkin Park.
Over 17,000 people attended to event which all the proceeds of went to the One More Light Fund to raise awareness of depression and suicide.
“The band has started the One More Light Fund in Bennington’s memory. As part of the non-profit Music For Relief organization— which Bennington co-founded in 2004 following the Indonesian tsunami— the fund helps survivors of environmental and natural disasters,” according to spin.com
